Moore’s Body Shop was started in Middletown Ohio by Richard Moore Sr. He passed it down to his sons Jerry, Danny, Richard Jr and Eddie Moore. Danny passed the trade down to his sons Danny Jr and Tony Wilson.

Our story: A legacy of family, craftsmanship and community

Moore’s Body Shop began as a dream and a dedication to hard work in the heart of Middletown, Ohio. Founded by Richard Moore Sr., a man whose skill with his hands and care for his neighbors laid the foundation for what would become a lasting family tradition. What started as one man’s passion for helping his community through quality auto-body repair quickly grew into a legacy spanning more than 150 years.

When Richard Sr. passed the business on to his sons - Jerry, Danny, Richard Jr., and Eddie, he wasn’t just handing down a shop; he was passing on a commitment to integrity, craftsmanship and kindness. Each generation learned the trade the old-fashioned way: by doing the work, listening to customers and taking pride in a job well done.

As the years rolled on, Danny Moore carried the torch to the next generation, teaching his sons Danny Jr. and Tony Wilson the skills, values and dedication that have defined Moore’s Body Shop for well over a century.
